RRR: Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody to play the lead antagonists in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus
As SS Rajmamouli is gearing up for his magnum opus RRR, the director unveiled the lead antagonist of the movie. Irish actor Ray Stevenson has been roped in to play the role of Scott in RRR.
Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who has been among the audience’s top favourite directors post his magnum opus Baahubali franchise, is all set to entertain the viewers with his next big project. Rajamouli is currently working on his multi-starrer project RRR. The movie will be bringing the industry’s big shots like Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt etc together and has created the right amount of buzz among the audience. And as the fans are excited about the project, director Rajamouli surprised the fans as he announced the lead antagonist of the movie.
Making the big announcement on Twitter, Rajamouli introduced Irish actor Ray Stevenson as the lead antagonist of the film. Ray will be seen playing the role of Scott in RRR. The makers also shared his look from the magnum opus wherein he was seen dressed as a decorated officer of an armed force. The intense look on his face clarified that he has some nasty plans for his enemies. The poster came with a caption which read as, “#RayStevenson, it’s a pleasure to have you play the lead antagonist #SCOTT in #RRRMovie. Can't wait to begin shooting with you. #RRR.”
In another poster, Rajamouli also introduced the female antagonist Lady Scott which will be played by Irish actress Alison Doody. The poster shows her has a vicious lady who means strictly business. To note, RRR will mark Alison and Rays’s debut in Indian Cinema.
According to media reports, Rajamouli’s period drama will feature Jr NTR and Ram Charan will be playing the roles of Komaram Bheema and Alluri Seetharamaraju respectively. The movie is being shot in Ramoji Film City and is expected to hit the screens on July 30 next year.
