Now nearly a year after, Rakshit is back in the news. Rakshit is returning to social media on the eve of his birthday. Rakshit's team announced that the actor is returning to all social media platforms on demand by his fans.
Speaking about his comeback, a source close to the team informed Times Of India, “After a long hiatus, Rakshit will be back on all platforms on the eve of his birthday. His fans have been asking for his comeback and he has thought of this as a gift to them. He completes shooting for Avane Srimannarayana today and will be busy with the post production thereon. However, he does not want his fans to miss out on any action. So, while the actor himself will not be on the forums, his digital team will handle all the updates from the star, provide constant information from the camp of Avane Srimannarayana, and ensure that his fans have their share of love from him. They will also make sure that all the love from his fans, in the form of messages/comments, reach Rakshit.”
Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty fell in love with each other on the sets of Kirik Party. The two got engaged on July 3, 2017, and celebrated one year of engagement as well last year. However, few months later, the couple parted ways.
Last year, Rakshit had issued a statement about his failed engagement with Rashmika Mandanna. He wrote, “You all have formed opinions about Rashmika. I don’t blame any of you because that’s how it is projected. I have known Rashmika for more than two years and I have known her better than any of you. There are many factors that are acting here. Please stop judging her. Please let her be in peace.”
