Rashmika Mandanna & Dhruva Sarja’s Pogaru: Here’s what audience has to say about the Nanda Kishore directorial

It was a treat to the fans to see the Action Prince Dhruva Sarja back on the big screens after a long gap of 3 years. The actor's highly anticipated film Pogaru hit the big screens on Friday, February 19, 2021. Directed by Nanda Kishore, fans are all praises for the action-entertainer on Twitter. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, the film is being lauded by the fans for its action sequences. Apart from the power-packed action sequences, the film is also being lauded for its massy storyline, power packed punch dialogues and songs.

Not to forget the trendsetter song Karabuu, which has already become a sensational number. Bank rolled by BK Gangadhar under his home banner Sri Jagadguru Movies, the film revolves around the protagonist Shiva, played by Dhruva Sarja. He is seen as a rugged youth who is loved by people as he stands up for injustice. A recent report suggested that Dhruva had to shed 30 kilos for flashback sequences of the film, which showed him as a school boy. During an interview, Dhruva had revealed that it was a tough task for him to lose and gain weight in a short span of time.

Pogaru marks Dhruva Sarja's debut in Tollywood and Kollywood. The film was released in in Telugu as Pogaru and Semma Thimiru in Tamil. Media reports suggest that the film was made on a budget of Rs 25 crore. Apart from the lead actors, Pogaru also stars Dhananjay, Raghavendra Rajkumar, P Ravi Shankar, Kai Greene, Sadhu Kokila, Kutti Prathap and Morgan Aste in key roles. Pogaru has music composed by Chandan Shetty, while Vijay Milton cranked the camera and Mahesh S took care of the editing.
