The host further asked Rana about the Bollywood actors and their straight out of photoshoot photos uploaded on their social media account. Rana Daggubati went ahead and shared a funny story on the same that he had with his Telugu co-star who is not on social media. “He and I were sitting and he is not on social media...in fact, not many South actors are not on social media. So one day, he asked me what Instagram is and asked me to show accounts of some x y z actors in Bombay. He then asked me a question, “why is everybody taking pictures and putting it up in nice clothes.” I didn’t have any answer to it. I said ya, that’s true. He kept scrolling through pictures because he didn’t get the point.”
When further asked about no paparazzi culture in Hyderabad and how celebrities choose to party at their homes. Rana replied, “The city is different from what it is here. There it is much more home culture. There is no apartment culture, everybody lives in homes and bungalows, far away from each other. It is not like you to meet at common spots. You are not going to get much because the city is scattered and the shoots are much more in studios. You are not going to find gym, airport and that type of stuff.”
