Ram Pothineni starrer Telugu remake of Thadam shelved? Find Out
As per recent reports, Ram Pothineni's film which was a Telugu remake of a Tamil film called Thadam is believed to be shelved. Ram Pothineni decided to leave the project after listening to the film's final narration.
Ram Pothineni is currently riding high on the success of his film, iSmart Shankar which was directed by Puri Jagannadh. The actor who flew out of the country for a family vacation just before the film's release, returned to the country to celebrate the success bash of the film along with stunning actress and co-star Nidhhi Agerwal. Both the actors were happy to celebrate the success of their film. Now, as per recent reports, the sensational Ram Pothineni's film, which was a Telugu remake of a Tamil film called Thadam is believed to be shelved.
The film, Thadam was a blockbuster hit and it would have been interesting to watch Ram act in its Telugu remake. The reports suggest that the actor was very pleased with Thadam's story line and was looking forward to star in its Telugu remake. Ram Pothineni's uncle Sravanthi Ravikishore had brought the remake rights of the Tamil film and the film was to be directed by Kishore Tirumala.
The Tamil film Thadam was a crime thriller with some high intensity action scenes in the film. It would have been a treat for the fans to watch Ram perform those action sequences, if the film Telugu remake was to be made. It is believed that Ram Pothineni decided to leave the project after listening the final narration of the film. It is still unclear if the Sravanthi Ravikishore will cast another leading hero in this film. Magizh Thirumeni directed the film Thadam and has also written it.
