iSmart Shankar starring Ram Pothineni, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh became the latest victim of piracy website Tamilrockers
Tamilrockers is a popular website, famous for leaking films online for free download as soon as they hit theatres. They started off with uploading Tamil films onto their website but now they have began attacking Hindi and English films as well. The members record the movie print in local theatres and then upload the same on the website. According to the buzz, Tamilrockers constantly changes its URL so that even if the website is taken down or blocked, they quickly shift to another URL giving access to new movies.
The latest film to have fallen prey to the notorious website is ISmart Shankar, the much-anticipated action film directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. Starring Ram Pothineni, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nabha Natesh and Satyadev Kancharana, the film released yesterday and was leaked online today. It tells the story of Rowdy Shankar who has a score to settle with the people who wronged him, but has cops behind him. To make things worse, a chip is inserted into his brain, affecting his memories.
This year, there were many other films which became victims of Tamilrockers. One of the biggest examples is Hrithik Roshan’s film Super 30, which is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his education program. Some other examples include films like Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2, Gorilla, Avengers: Endgame, Bharat, Kabir Singh and MIB: International.
