Telugu star Ram Charan’s wife Upasana took to Instagram and raised a question to PM Narendra Modi for neglecting South Indian Film Industry while B-town celebs like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez were spotted at the event.
Bollywood fraternity once again met our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi at an event to discuss films and to mark Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary celebrations. The event took place in Delhi yesterday and was attended by B-town celebs like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor, Raj Kumar Hirani, Anand L Rai among others. With the members of the entertainment world were spotted under one roof on Saturday evening, no actor from the South Indian film industry was present at the event.
Telugu star Ram Charan’s wife Upasana took to Instagram and raised a question about how PM Modi has neglected South Indian Film Industry and that it’s extremely painful. She wrote, “Dearest @narendramodi ji. We in the South of INDIA admire you & are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all due respect we felt that the representation of Leading personalities & cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and The South Film Industry was neglected. I express my feelings with pain & hope it’s taken in the right spirit. Jai Hind.”
The only Telugu celebrity who was seen at the event was ace producer Dil Raju. Soon many fans commented and supported Upasana for raising her point and voice against it.
Meanwhile, Aamir, SRK and other celebs went on to hail PM and also took to social media as they shared photos and videos from the event.
