Darbar star Rajinikanth revealed his favourite film of Indian 2 star Kamal Haasan. While talking about the south superstar Kamal Haasan on the occasion of his 65th birthday celebrations, the Petta actor Rajinikanth said that he loved Kamal Haasan's film titled Apoorva Sagotharargal. This film happens to be Rajinikanth's favourite film of megastar Kamal Haasan. The Kabali actor Rajinikanth further added that Kamal Haasan's other film Hey Ram and Thevar Magan are amongst the films he liked of the Ek Duje Ke Liye actor.

As per the latest reports, the Enthiran star Rajinikanth also stated that he watched Kamal Haasan starrer Hey Ram 30 times. The Kaala actor and south megastar Rajinikanth further said that he is not into watching many films but films like The Godfather (1972), Thiruvilaiyadal (1965) and Hey Ram (2000) are classics. The Dharma Durai actor Rajinikanth further mentions that south megastar Kamal Haasan's film Apoorva Sagotharargal is very close to his heart. The Thevar Magan star Kamal Haasan went on to add that we wanted to congratulate Chandramukhi actor Rajinikanth on receiving the IFFI’s Golden Jubilee award.

The Vishwaroopam star Kamal Haasan also added that the Annamalai star Rajinikanth should have got this honour 43 years ago. The Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu star Kamal Haasan also mentions that he and the Muthu actor Rajinikanth have always been there to support each other, even when the film audience thought that they were arch rivals. Rajinikanth is looking forward to his film Darbar. While, Kamal Haasan is currently busy with Shankar directorial titled Indian 2.
