The audio launch of Kaappaan was a starry affair as a galaxy of stars was in attendance at the event. From Rajinikanth, director Shankar, and lyricist Vairamuthu to the crew of the film- Mohanlal, KV Anand, Suriya, Harris Jayaraj, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and others, it was raining stars at the event. Now, during the event, South superstar Rajinikanth, opened up about Mohanlal and lauded him as the “most natural actor” and said that Mohanlal is a gift to Kaappaan.

Furthermore, Rajinikanth credited Bala for Suriya’s growth and was all praise for the actor’s performance in Pithamagan. “Initially, I was doubtful if Suriya would become successful. Now, I am satisfied by his determination, hard work and effort,” said Rajinikanth. Thereafter, director Shankar said that they all call Suriya’s father “Markandeyan” but in reality, it is Suriya who is getting younger with each passing year. “I am sure Kaappaan has all the ingredients to become a successful commercial entertainer. I wish the outing turns to be a great mass film for Suriya,” said Shankar.

Moreover, KV Anand also showered praises on Suriya as he said that Suriya is a man of perfection and always wants to give his best and talking about Lalettan, he said that no other actor other than him could have played the Prime Minister so well. And before the event came to an end, Mohanlal revealed that Suriya is a dedicated actor as she said, “I know Anand since Thenmavin Kombath. When he narrated the script to me, I was extremely thrilled to work with Suriya.” Kaappaan, which has been directed by K.V. Anand is all set to be released in the theatres in the month of October this year.
