Akkineni Nagarjuna kick-started shooting of his next film Manmadhudu 2 in Hyderabad and the team has now headed to Portugal for the second schedule. The romantic comedy is directed of Rahul Ravindran of Chi La Sow fame. The film also starring Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead is the talk of the town since a very long time. However, the film recently hit the headlines for all the wrong rumours. Reports were doing rounds that Akkineni Nagarjuna is unhappy with his co-star Rakul Preet's lean figure.
For her upcoming Bollywood film, De De Pyaar De starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul has lost around 10 kgs, however, her film with Nagarjuna requires the actress to put on some weight. Reportedly, the Tollywood actor has asked Rakul to gain weight for the film. Recently, director and actor Rahul Ravindran took to Twitter and slammed all the reports regarding Nagarjuna not happy with Rakul's look. He tweeted, "Contrary to some rumours, Rakul Preet has been shooting with us from day one of the Portuguese schedule. We have all been gushing non-stop about how stunning she's looking and thanking our lucky stars that we got her. What an incredible talent she is Love to all."
Nagarjuna had recently shared photos with Rakul Preet and cast from the sets of the film and captioned them as, "Me and my #Manmadhudu2 family!!! Loving it!!" The team of Manmadhudu was seen posing for a happy family picture and this has only raised excitement among the moviegoers.
