R. Madhavan is all smiles as his son Vedaant has won gold at the  Junior National Aquatic Championships 2019. The actor is a proud father as he proudly announces on his Instagram account that his son has won 3 golds and a silver medal at the swimming championship. Madhavan posted a video of his son during the competition and adds that with everyone's best wishes and the impeccable training given by the coaches, Vedaant has scored a gold medal. The actors son can be seen in the pool in a victorious smile on his face. The actor has thanked everyone who has helped Vedaant scale such great heights and says he is looking forward to achieve bigger wins.

R. Madhavan is all set with his upcoming directorial venture called 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’. The story is a biographical saga which revolves around the life of a aerospace engineer and a former scientist based in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who was accused of espionage during his time there.

This film is shot simultaneously Hindi, Tamil and English, and the Tamil version will have a slightly different title called, ‘Rocketry: Nambi Vilaivu’. The story covers the journey of this aerospace scientist from his college days at Princeton University and his subsequent life at ISRO as a scientist, where he battles the charges of espionage on leveled him. The film sounds very challenging with a very rare subject. This being Madhavan's directorial debut, fans are very eager to see what the actor will bring to the audience members who have loved his films and his acting through the years.
