Queen Tamil Remake Paris Paris: Parul Yadav opens up on Censor Board taking objection on Kajal Aggarwal's film
Parul Yadav, who is one of the producers of all the Queen remakes, spoke about one nation having many rules as Censor Board takes objection on Kajal Aggarwal's film, Paris Paris.
Kajal Aggarwal's upcoming film Paris Paris, an official remake of Kangana Ranaut's Queen, has landed into trouble. The Censor Board has questioned the makers of the film over the bold visuals. The makers of Kajal Aggarwal starrer have been asked to tone down the bold scenes and mute cuss words. In order to get a clearance from the censor board, the film is referred to the revising committee regarding the same. While Kannada and Malayalam have certified the movies with UA, Telugu version is still under review and Tamil version has been landed into trouble.
In a recent interview to a daily, Parul Yadav, who is one of the producers of the all the Queen remakes, spoke about one nation having many rules. She said, "In Paris Paris, we didn’t include a scene, which involves the heroine getting into a strip club, thinking that it won’t go well with the sensibilities of the people here. So, we have been careful about the scenes. Also, the people we are talking about in the film are people living in Europe. In fact, if we blur the cleavage, it will look vulgar. It wasn’t an issue in Hindi, Kannada or Malayalam. One nation, but many rules!”
Manu Kumaran, who is also a co-producer of the film, spoke his heart out about censor board having problem with Tamil version while the original Hindi version was passed with UA certificate.
