Prithviraj and Indrajith Sukumaran come together for Irshad Parari's directorial debut; Details inside
The new venture for which these brothers will collaborate is a directorial debut of Irshad Parari. Previously, Irshad had worked on Prithviraj’s directorial debut Lucifer as an associate director.
Actors Indrajith and Prithviraj Sukumaran have made sure that whenever they team up for any film, it has to be a very challenging film. The story has to be a unique one that is never done before. The proof of this can be found in films like Aakashathinte Niram, Double Barrel and Tiyaan. The new venture for which these brothers will collaborate is a directorial debut of Irshad Parari. The film’s shoot will be done entirely in the Malabar area and the official title of this film will be announced next month.
Previously, Irshad Parari had worked on Prithviraj’s directorial debut Lucifer as an associate director. Lucifer had Indrajith playing an important role. When Irshad Parari was quizzed about this upcoming film he said the story of this film revolves around a rural set up with investigative elements in the film. He further adds that it would be too early to speak about the characters essayed by Indrajith and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
When the first-time director was asked about how different is his film from his brother Muhsin’s stories, Irshad quickly says that he would never compromise on the cinematic aspects of the film. In his previous work, Sudani from Nigeria there were moments where they could scale up the drama quotient, but they resisted doing so and kept the film very real. Irshad Parari says about his directorial debut that he gives more value to the detailing in the film and making sure that the characters and their emotional journey is captured well in the film. There is space for adding entertainment-based elements in the film for the audience but the film is not only based on that aspect.
