Is Prabhas dating Anushka Shetty? Baahubali star gives an EPIC reply; Says ‘Rumours are bound to float’
Prabhas and Anushka Shetty’s dating rumours aren’t new to the industry. But the Baahubali star has finally put the rumours to rest. Here’s what he said.
Prabhas is one the most eligible bachelors in the showbiz industry and there are no second thoughts about it. As much as the fans are keen to see him ditching his bachelorhood soon, the reports about his love life also continue to be rife. In fact, it is also reported that Prabhas has been dating his Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty for a while now. This isn’t all as the media reports also suggest that the rumoured couple is likely to get married soon.
While both Prabhas and Anushka have rubbished the reports of their love affair time and again, the Saaho star has finally decided to put the rumours to rest. During his recent interaction with Filmfare, Prabhas clarified that the audience sees Baahubali and Devasena as a pair which is creating such rumours. To note, Anushka had played the role of Devasena in the Baahubali franchise. He further emphasised that he and Anushka have been friends for over a decade. And while the rumours about the love affair continue to be rife, Prabhas feels it will end only after either of the two will get married.
“Rumours are bound to float. A few months ago, things had died down. Now, they’ve begun again. Anushka and I have been friends for 11 years. If there was anything between us, why would we hide it? Until one of us gets married, I guess the rumours are not going to stop. Anushka is one of the most beautiful girls. She played Devasena. Audiences see Baahubali and her as a pair. So, I don’t know how to stop these rumours,” Prabhas was quoted saying.

Later, the Rebel actor also shared his wedding plans and said, “I’d like to get married someday. I had given a thought to it earlier but then I got stuck with the biggest film. But yes, I’ll definitely get married.”
