Pooja Hegde has geared for the promotions of her upcoming Telugu film, Valmiki. The film, which has been directed by Harish, is the Telugu remake of Tamil superhit film Jigarthanda. Pooja is leaving no stone unturned for the film's promotion. The stunner is promoting the film in style and her recent look is a winner. The actress channels her inner desi girl in an embellished Tarun Tahilani ivory saree and we just can't get our eyes off her. Recently in an interview with Times Of India, director Harish revealed about Pooja's role in the film. He said, "Pooja Hegde is the most important character in the second half, she will be a complete surprise. That is why I am not revealing much about her. However, her character and song are only put in because the story demands it, not for commercial reasons. Apart from the Velluvachi Godaramma remix, the film also has four other songs, and a few action episodes." Valmiki has set high expectations among the audience and moviegoers are eagerly looking forward to this one.

Valmiki also stars Varun Tej, Atharvaa Murali and Mrinalini Ravi in the lead roles. Varun Tej is essaying the lead role of a gangster and it has been modified in the remake, reveals director Harish.
