Photos: Rajinikanth enjoys cricket on the sets of Darbar in Mumbai; Nayanthara and Yogi Babu join him

The shooting of Rajinikanth and Nayanthara starrer Darbar is currently taking place in Mumbai. The film directed by AR Murugadoss will also see Yogi Babu in an important role. Recently, makers of the film confirmed Nayanthara and Yogi Babu have joined Rajinikanth on the sets of Darbar in Mumbai. Well, now, we have got some exciting pictures from the set that sees Rajinikanth enjoying cricket with Yogi Babu and entire cast and crew. One can also see Nayanthara engrossed into some conversation with Thalaivar as he enjoys playing cricket.

Darbar will see Rajinikanth in the role of a cop. The film was launched earlier this month with a pooja and the shoot has kick-started in Mumbai with full swing. A few days ago, Nayanthara joined Rajinikanth on the sets of Darbar. The makers of the film took to Twitter and made an announcement of the same. Lyca Productions tweeted, “#Nayanthara joins the sets of thalaivar’s #Darbar today @ARMurugadoss @santoshsivan @anirudhofficial #IdhuThalaivarinDarbar". Well, this is the first time that Murugadoss is directing Rajinikanth and the curiosity among the moviegoers is quite high.

The entire cast and crew of AR Murugadoss' Darbar performed pooja before commencing the shooting of the film. Interestingly, Rajinikanth will be essaying the role of a cop after almost 25 years, having last played a cop in the film Pandiyan (1992).
