Oh Baby actress Samantha: We can never say about how many people visit theatres only for the heroine

Samantha Akkineni is receiving a lot of praises for her performance in the film Oh Baby. The fantasy comedy-drama released today and opened with great reviews from the audience as well as critics. In an interview with Indian Express, the gorgeous actress got candid about the film and much more.
When asked why the film is quite extensively promoted, Samantha answered that it is a very special film and everyone should watch it. She added that Oh Baby's story deserves to be watched by people.
The actress was asked if the film can be considered as a test for her to which she agreed. Samantha said, "We can never say about how many people visit theatres only for the heroine. So far, we acted with superstars such as Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. They pull people to theatres. We do not know how many will come to see us (female leads)."
Samantha further added that with films like Oh Baby, it is important for an actor to test their ability to draw people to the theatres. She knows it's a good film and once people watch it, they'll like it too.
