Nithya Menen who was a part of recently released Bollywood film, Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar is eagerly looking forward to the release of her upcoming film called Kolambi. The film is helmed by director, TK Rajeev Kumar. The stunning Nithya Menen is playing the role of an actress who travels to Kochi for the installation of her works at the Kochi Muziris Biennale. The actress has previously worked with director TK Rajeev Kumar in the film called Thalsamayam Oru Pennkutty. Now, while talking about the film, Kolambi to The Times of India, the actress candidly admits that Kolambi was the film that she was looking to star in.

She also adds that it was the film, she has enjoyed shooting the most so far. The actress admits that the film Kolambi has many layers to it and has been shot in a very sensitive way, which is something she appreciates the most. Nithya Menen says that she likes film which have a good subject and are sensitive in nature. The way the film Kolambi has been made, she enjoyed every bit of the film.

The entire experience of shooting Kolambi with the cast and crew of the film was a satisfying experience. The film has an impressive star cast. Actors like Renji Panicker and Rohini will feature in crucial roles. About the director TK Rajeev Kumar, the actress says that he is one of her favourite people to work with. The film, Kolambi has a very refreshing look to it and the fans are looking forward to watch the film on the big screen.
