Nerkonda Paarvai: Thala Ajith starrer gets a U/A certificate from the Censor Board

The upcoming Tamil movie Nerkonda Paarvai has created a lot of buzz in the media ever since its inception. The much awaited movie happens to be a remake of the Bollywood movie Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang in the lead roles. South superstar Ajith Kumar will be reprising Amitabh Bachchan's role in the Tamil remake. The trailer of Nerkonda Paarvai has already been released which has received humongous response from the fans. It has also been expected that the movie is going to be powerful and effective just like the original one. 

Now, according to the latest reports, Nerkonda Paarvai has been granted the U/A certificate by the Censor Board much to the happiness of the makers as well as the fans. The movie's release date has also been confirmed to be August 8, 2019. Other than Thala Ajith, the movie also stars Vidya Balan, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Shraddha Srinath and Andrea Tariang in the lead roles. Few days back, a new poster of the upcoming movie as been released in which Ajith looks dapper dressed as a lawyer.

The movie Nerkonda Paarvai has been produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H. Vinoth. The original movie Pink was directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and was released back in the year 2016. The movie received a lot of critical acclaim post its release and was a huge hit. Pink was able to gross Rs 50 crore within a few days of its release into the theatres.
