Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui to collaborate with Dhanush for his next directorial?
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui, who recently wrapped his debut directorial Bole Chudiyan, is now working on his next project. It is reported that he will be collaborating with Tamil superstar Dhanush in his next directorial. Here are the details.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s younger brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui has been creating a lot of buzz in the town. After all, he will soon be making his directorial debut with Nawaz’s upcoming movie Bole Chudiyan. The movie has been grabbing a lot of attention not just because of Nawazuddin’s interesting character but also for its powerful ensemble of cast. Bole Chudiyan also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Anurag Kashyap in the lead. And while Shamas’ has recently wrapped this much talked about movie, it is reported that the debutant director has begun working on his next project Gehu Ganna Aur Gun.
To recall, Shamas had written the story of the movie six years ago and has been excited about the crime thriller. And while the debutant director is looking forward to work on the movie, it is reported that Shamas is planning to rope in Tamil superstar Dhanush in the movie. Reportedly, the director feels that Dhanush will be a perfect choice for Gehu Ganna Aur Gun. In fact, he is also said to be travelling to Chennai to meet the Asuran star for the same.
“Shamas feels that Dhanush fits the bill and will meet him soon to discuss the script,” a source was quoted saying. Apparently, Gehu Ganna aur Gun will also star Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.
Talking about the movie, Shamas had earlier stated, “It's a crime thriller and there is an interesting story behind its title. So, Nawaz Bhai has questioned many times during his interviews that 'What is famous in your family village?' And he always says, 'Gehu, Ganna aur Gun'. That's how I got the idea and we decided to title the film 'Gehu, Ganna aur Gun'”.
