Nagarjuna Akkineni REVEALS how his father reacted to his long kissing scene in Geethanjali
The Telugu star Nagarjuna Akkineni recently revealed how his father reacted to a kissing scene before the screening of his film, Geethanjali.
Nagarjuna Akkineni has geared up for the promotions of his upcoming film, Manmadhudu 2. Nagarjuna, who is also the host of Bigg Boss Telugu 3, will be seen in a casanova role in the film. The trailer of the film was released recently and it created a huge buzz among the fans on social media. Recently, during one of the interviews for his upcoming film, Nagarjuna spoke about his long kissing scenes in the film 'Geethanjali'. It is said to be the most memorable scenes ever shot by Mani Ratnam.
The Telugu veteran star also revealed about the climax kissing scene and how his father reacted to it. "Before the show started, I told my father that there is a long, unbroken kissing scene that is very aesthetic. After the show, he told me that's the best scene in the movie. He also assured me that no Censor Board member will remove that scene if ever he or she loved anybody," Nag was quoted as saying in the interview. Nagarjuna Akkineni also revealed that he thought Censor Board would not approve and take a strict stance on it.
Geethanjali was directed by Mani Ratnam and it showcased a beautiful story of two young people who fall in love with each other. The film was also awarded the National Award for being a wholesome entertainer.
Meanwhile, Nag awaits the release of Manmadhudu-2 on August 9. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh.
