PM Narendra Modi had made an appeal to the people to light up diyas, candles and flash their mobile torch lights to show solidarity for all those who are fighting the Coronavirus outbreak on the front lines.
Many south stars took to their social media handles to shares pictures of them lighting up candles and diyas in support of the #9baje9minute. The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi had made an appeal to the people to light up diyas, candles and flash their mobile torch lights to show solidarity for all those who are fighting the Coronavirus outbreak on the frontlines. The south megastar Nagarjuna Akkineni shared a picture on his Twitter handle alongside wife and son Akhil. The Akkineni family is showing support to the solidarity call made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The south actors like Pooja Hegde also shared a picture, wherein she is lighting up diyas and candle in her balcony to show her support for the #9baje9minute. Other south actors like Venky Mama actress Raashi Khanna and Gaddalakonda Ganesh star Varun Tej shared pictures of them with the candles. The fans and followers were delighted to see the actors showing their support for a noble cause. The world at the moment is batting the COVID-19 outbreak. The country is under lockdown for 21 days.

PM Modi had previously announced that the country will have to be kept under lockdown in order to stop the Coronavirus from spreading further. In a move to curb the COVID-19 crisis further all the public transport, commercial units, offices, vehicles, theatres, malls, gyms, schools, and colleges have been shut down. Venky Mama actor Venkatesh Daggubati also shared a video of him holding lamps to show his support.
