Mohanlal finished shooting for his film Ittymaani: Made in China, and has kick started the shoot for his next project called Big Brother. This film will be directed by Siddique. The film's first schedule will start in Ernakulam and then head to other locations as per reports. Big Brother also has bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan making his debut in Malayalam films. The star cast also included actors Anoop Menon, Sarjano Khalid and Satna Titus. Mohanlal, Anoop Menon and Sarjano Khalid play brothers in this film, Arbaaz Khan will be seen essaying the role of a police officer.
Mohanlal was in China recently to wrap up the last schedule of the film, Ittymaani: Made in China. This film is now in its post-production stage. Ittymaani: Made in China is helmed by first time directors Jibi and Joju and is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
The title poster of the film was released some time ago and the poster featured a laughing Buddha, hinting that the film could be a comedy drama. Joju said in an interview to the Times of India that this film will remind the viewers of films like Vellanakalude Naadu, Chithram and Kilukkam. Ittymaani: Made in China and Big Brother are expected to release this year. Mohanlal will also be seen in Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. This film will be releasing early next year. The shoot of this historical film was completed a few months ago and the film is in the post production stage.
