Manmadhudu 2 star Nagarjuna Akkineni opens up about his character and the type of films he likes to watch
Nagarjuna Akkineni will next be seen in the much awaited rom com Manmadhudu 2 opposite the gorgeous Rakul Preet Singh
Along with hosting the third season of reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu, Nagarjuna Akkineni is currently busy gearing up for his upcoming film Manmadhudu 2 alongside Rakul Preet Singh. Produced by Naga, P.Kiran on Annapurna Studios, Anandi Art Creations, Viacom18 Motion Pictures banners and directed by Rahul Ravindran, the romantic comedy is an official remake of a French movie titled I Do and is all set to hit theatres on 9th August.
In an interview with India Today, the superstar was asked if the character in the film is anything like him. Naga shared, “Ahh....nothing like that (laughs). A film is a film, and real life is real life. I'm very clear at that and one shouldn't get confused. What you are in your life, you cannot be in a film. It doesn't work that way and it'll be boring (laughs).”
The actor was also asked if he prefers working in serious films as compared to commercial entertainers. To this he replied that he wants to do films that entertain people and does not work in serious films that much. He went on to share that he likes movies that are inspiring and depict real life. He concluded, “That is my taste when it comes to watching films.”
