South superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna is currently busy on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Manmadhudu 2. The Telugu romantic comedy, also starring Rakul Preet Singh, is directed by Rahul Ravindran and is slated to release on 9th August. It is an official remake of the French film I Do and the title has been inspired by Nagarjuna's 2002 rom com Manmadhudu. The trailer dropped a while back and has received a thumbs up from fans.

During a recent promotional event, the superstar shared his thoughts on nepotism in the Tollywood industry. According to a report, the actor spoke about how there are many actors in the South industry who have garnered fame and recognition and have become successful without having any background in films. Apparently, now Akkineni Nagarjuna has decided to make it a point that star kids will face more pressure, as they have the burden to continue a legacy. He also shared how he does not believe in nepotism and would love to pass on the legacy.

Nagarjuna, father of actors Naga Chaitanya and Akkineni Akhil and father-in-law to the gorgeous Samantha Akkineni, is one of the most well-known and respected actors in the industry. Along with promoting his next film, he is also busy hosting the third season of Bigg Boss Telugu, which is one of the most controversial yet.
