Manmadhudu 2: Nagarjuna Akkineni confirms the film is a remake of THIS French romance drama

Rahul Ravindran has directed this film which stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rakul Preet in the lead. This film has generated a lot of curiosity among the fans since the trailer was launched as both the leading stars carry a very refreshing look on them for this. This romantic comedy also stars veteran actress Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore and Devadharshini in key roles. Manmadhudu 2's trailer was released today with a lot of excitement.
The fans were eagerly waiting for this trailer as the film features Nagarjuna Akkineni opposite Rakul Preet. Initially, there were reports that this film is a remake of Hollywood film What Women Want. But, Nagarjuna refuted these rumours at the trailer launch event. The Devadas actor further added that the lead character from the film Manmadhudu was added into this French film's remake.
The megastar Nagarjuna Akkineni also said that Manmadhudu 2 was not the sequel to its original film called Manmadhudu. The makers of this remake have legally bought the rights for this film from Studio Canal before the film began its shoot. The trailer of Manmadhudu 2 shows the lead character's issues with commitment. Rakul Preet's character is very free spirited and dynamic. Rakul Preet's character Avantika falls for Nagarjuna's character. This adds a twist in the story line of Manmadhudu 2. The film tracks the love story between the lead pair in a humorous way.
