The gorgeous Rakul Preet Singh is currently busy gearing up for her upcoming film Manmadhudu 2, opposite South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. The actress began her journey in the film industry with the Kannada film Gilli. She went on to work in the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries and has garnered fans all across the nation. Rakul has travelled all over the country and has worked with some of the most well-known personalities in the Indian entertainment industry.
In a recent interview with TOI, Rakul was asked where she thinks she belongs. To this, the actress replied that her parents stay in Delhi and that’s where she did her schooling and higher studies from. After she moved to Mumbai, she began her career in modelling and dabbled in acting as well. It was in Hyderabad that she got a kick-start to her acting career and made it big in the South industry. She shared, “So, I belong to every part of India, and no city in particular.”
Rakul further explained how actors are always on the move because of their work and live out of suitcases. She also said, “As an army kid, I had changed 10 schools by the time I passed class 10 because my father travelled across the nation. That’s why I belong to every nook and cranny of this country. I’m a proud army child.”
