Malayalam actress Archana Kavi had a narrow escape when her moving car got hit by a concrete slab
Malayalam actress Archana Kavi was on her way to the airport when her moving car was hit by a concrete slab. She had a narrow escape and reportedly was not hurt. The actress went ahead to upload pictures of her car on the internet asking the authorities in Kochi to look into the matter and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
The actress who made her debut in 2009 with Neelathaamara played the role of Kunjimalu, a maid in an old ancestral home who falls for the owner of the house. She impressed the audience as well as critics and went on to work in films like Mummy & Me, Best of Luck and Aravaan.
In her post, the actress wrote: “We had a narrow (providential) escape. A concrete slab fell on our moving car while we were on the way to the airport. I would request @kochimetro and @KochiPolice to look into the matter and compensate the driver. Also see to it that such things don't happen in future.” Replying to her tweet, Kochi Metro Rail said, “Dear @archana_kavi following your update, we contacted the driver last evening to understand the whereabouts of the incident. Our team is looking into the issue and will get back to you at the earliest. Extremely regret the inconvenience caused.”
