Makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in a legal battle with freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy's family?
Doravari Dastagiri Reddy, who happens to be the fourth generation of freedom fighter Uyyalavada has filed a case in the Telangana High Court and the court will give its verdict on Monday.
The period drama titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has got itself into a legal battle with the family members of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. As per the latest reports, the makers of the Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy had made the family of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy aware that they will be making a film. At that time, the freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy's family did not ask for any compensation or share in the profits. But, later on a few family members have taken objection to the film as they did not receive any kind of compensation.
The family members of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy had demanded Rs 50 crores as compensation. But, the makers of the film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Chiranjeevi as Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy felt that Rs 50 crores was a massive amount to pay to the family members. The makers of the film have spent close to Rs 270 crores in the making of the magnum opus called Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The makers of the film, including Ram Charan has left no stone unturned to make sure that the film is a visual delight.
The film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy consist of spectacular visual effects for which the makers of the film have spent close to Rs 45 crores. Now, with the latest controversy circling the film, the fans are wondering whether or not the film will hit the big screen on the release date which October 2.
