Going as per the reviews, Adivi Sesh's Major has opened to a positive response from fans with many calling it a blockbuster.
Major, the pan Indian film of Adivi Sesh has hit the theatres today, clashing at box office with Vikram. The actor stepped into the shoes of 26/11 Mumbai attacks martyr solider Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who died after saving hundreds of lives during the terrorism attack. Many fans shared their thoughts after watching Major and called it a blockbuster.
He perfectly portrays the personal and professional milestones of the army officer's life. Major follows the life of the 2008 Mumbai attacks braveheart Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. It narrates his journey, starting from his childhood up to the tragic events of the Mumbai attack where he was martyred. The movie runs high on three elements -- Emotions, patriotism and action. Audience say that Major is a perfect tribute to soldiers and some scenes will leave you teary eyed.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, this Telugu film was also shot simultaneously in Malayalam, and Hindi. The flick also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi Nair, and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles. Bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, the music for the venture has been composed by Sricharan Pakala.
The film was shot by Vamsi Patchipulusu and its music and background score were composed by Sricharan Pakala and the film was edited by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
