Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi's 50 Days celebration event cancelled after Vijaya Nirmala's death
The makers of Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi have cancelled the event. Actress Vijaya Nirmala's sad demise is the reason why the 50-Days run event of Maharshi has been postponed.
Superstar Mahesh Babu's recently released film Maharshi is all set to complete 50-Days run at the Box Office on June 28. The film which opened to a mixed response, went on to earn huge at the Box Office. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in the lead roles. The makers of the film recently announced about hosting a grand successful 50-Days run at the ticket windows. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the socio-drama is running towards 50 Days in 200 centres. However, due to an unfortunate situation, the makers of Mahesh Babu starrer have cancelled the event. Actress Vijaya Nirmala's sad demise is the reason why the 50-Days run celebrations event has been postponed.
The makers of the film tweeted, "#Maharshi 50 days event which was scheduled for 28th June 2019 stands postponed." Celebrities and fans of Mahesh Babu have been offering condolence messages on Twitter. Allari Naresh, who played Mahesh Babu's friend in the film Maharshi, tweeted, "Vijaya Nirmala garu was a pillar to this industry, from acting to film-making her work has inspired many. Her demise is an irreplaceable loss to the art. My heartfelt condolences to Krishna Garu, @ItsActorNaresh and their entire family. #RIPVijayaNirmalaGaru."
Vijaya Nirmala who has acted in over 200 films, passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 73. The veteran actress took her last breathe at a hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar, veteran star and Vijaya Nirmala's husband Krishna paid their last respects to the veteran actress.
Nirmala is survived by a son, Naresh and husband Krishna. She is also the step-mother of popular Telugu actor Mahesh Babu.
