‘Maara Theme’ single track from Suriya’s Sooratai Potru to be released in January 2020
Music composer GV Prakash Kumar took to Twitter and announced that the single track 'Maara theme' from Suriya's Soorarai Potru will be released in January 2020.
It will be fair to say that 2019 was an eventful year for actor Suriya as two of his exciting films - Nandha Gopalan Kumaran and Kaappaan were released. While the actor’s fans are waiting for details on his next film Soorarai Pottru, music composer JV Prakash Kumar has been giving little updates about the film. He recently announced that the single track ‘Maara Theme’ will be released in January 2020. The music director had earlier revealed that the teaser will be released during Pongal 2020. The ‘Maara Theme’ track has already set a major hype as it has portion in which actor Suriya will be rapping. Arivu of The Casteless Collective has penned the song.
Soorarai Pottru will also be dubbed and released in Telugu as Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra. The shooting was wrapped up a while back and the movie is all set for a summer 2020 release. After it was announced that Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal will be playing the main antagonist, the movie has received even bigger attention. This will be the actor’s debut Tamil movie and he will be seen as the owner of an airliner named JAZ Airways.
As far as castings are concerned, Soorarai Pottru has Aparna Balamurali playing the female lead alongside, while Karunas, Kaali Venkat, will be playing key supporting roles. Award-winning international stunt choreographer Greg Powell has choreographed stunts for the film. He is known for his works in notable Hollywood films such as Fast and Furious 6, Skyfall, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1&2), The Bourne Ultimatum, Lost in Space, among the others.
