Lucifer 2: Mohanlal and Prithviraj's film named Empuraan; Details inside

Finally, after a long wait, the makers of Mohanlal starrer Lucifer have made a huge announcement. The makers Lucifer are coming up with a second part and its titled, Empuraan. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal took to Facebook and announced about the film's sequel yesterday. The short video clip features actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran and will leave you stunned with a scene that has been shot in Russia. Going by the clip, it seems the second part of the film will start from where the first part ended. Earlier today, the makers of the film revealed the film's title. 

Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran and other makers of the film interacted with media. The makers also unveiled the film's title with an interesting poster. The title, Empuraan, supposedly means ‘more than a king and less than a god’. The team is expected to kick-start the shooting of the film soon. As we see in the short clicp, Mohanlal will be seen playing the role of Abram Qureshi, who is known as Stephen Nedumpally in Kerala. Well,  Lucifer made it to Rs 200 crore club worldwide at the box office, making it the second Malayalam movie to achieve this huge. Moviegoers are pretty excited for the second part.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has won the hearts of the audiences with his directorial debut. Mohanlal starrer Lucifer marked the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film which was produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and written by Murali Gopy, also stars Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Saniya Iyappan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.
