Samantha got a special birthday surprise from her friend and upcoming film co-star Vijay Deverakonda. The actor and team, who were shooting in Kashmir, surprised the birthday girl with a prank and her reaction is a must-see. The team put full effort into faking a scene, narration, and right when the duo was performing, they called it a surprise.
While Samantha delivers an emotional dialogue, Vijay surprises her mid-way and wishes her a happy birthday. Samantha goes through a rollercoaster of emotions towards the end of the video and it's pure gold. Samantha also cut the cake with Vijay and the team on the sets of Kashmir. Sharing the video on social media, Vijay penned a birthday note to Samantha, which read, "Happy Birthday @Samanthaprabhu2. Wishing you full happiness. Let’s make a love story now. Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha will be pairing up for a romantic film, directed by Shiva Nirvana and is tentatively titled VD11. After a grand launch ceremony, the duo flew to Kashmir a few days ago for the first schedule of the film. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravishankar Yalamanchili under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, Hridayam fame Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music director.
Meanwhile, Samantha's special day was indeed full of light, love, and happiness as wishes poured in for the beauty from fans and celebs. A birthday poster from her upcoming film Shaakuntalam as an ethereal princess was also released.
