Kichcha Sudeep on his role in Pailwaan: I have attempted something that I have not done before

In an interview with Times of India, Sudeep opened up on the fitness level and physical transformation he did for the movie.
He said, “All along, I thought that I was fit enough, until I saw pictures of Kabir (Duhan Singh) He is really well built and I knew that I had to work on my body if I were to be shirtless in scenes featuring the two of us. I have never really been a fan of working out at the gym, but this film required just that and it has paved way for a beautiful change in my life. I have a certain discipline now and follow a routine. Honestly, there is no end to preparation and it had to be a sustained effort. A lot of effort and will power has gone into getting this physique. I have attempted something that I have not done before, which is a big feat for me, and I am very happy."
He also added how initially he used to feel shy as vert little of the body was covered while filming but later he got used to it and he began to enjoy the sense of freedom. He also said how he needed to be technically sound as well and how 4-5 days of rehearsals were done before every scene. In the same interview, he revealed how getting into the character involved a lot of physical abuse as well.
He also revealed how he would love to play the role of coach and cheer his protégé, as long as the story revolves around his character. Speaking of the movie, the same is directed by S. Krishna and produced by Swapna Krishna under the banner RRR Motion Pictures. Apart from Sudeep, the movie also stars Suniel Shetty and Aakanksha Singh.
