KGF star Yash OPENS UP on his struggle to become a star; Says 'There were years of hard work'
Yash made Kannada cinema more prominent than ever with KGF but little does anyone know, the road to success wasn't an easy one for him. Yash went through a lot of struggle and built his career brick by brick to become one of the biggest stars.
Kannada star Yash's last film KGF: Chapter 2 had set the box office on fire. The film, which released last year in December, opened to a massive response by the audience and critics alike. Now, the film is currently busy with the shooting of KGF: Chapter 2. Well, Yash made Kannada cinema more prominent than ever with KGF but little does anyone know, the road to success wasn't an easy one for him. Yash went through a lot of struggle and built his career brick by brick to become one of the biggest stars of the Kannada film industry.
During a recent interview, Yash revealed that one film has not changed his career. He said, "One film doesn't change the fate of a person. It is a process, what one has done over a period of time sometimes come together as a force. I did not become a star overnight. I built my career brick-by-brick. There was years of hard work behind me before KGF happened."
Yash also revealed about how he doesn't believe in speaking about his film once the film is out and hit. He revealed, "The success of KGF is not ultimate and I would never like to rest on my laurels. I speak about my films till it hit the screens. Once it is out, I will not talk about it. And if the movie turns out to be a hit, I would not open my mouth at all. Because it might make you lose your focus."
On the work front, Yash is working on the much talked about the sequel of his 2018 release KGF. KGF Chapter 2 will see Sanjay Dutt as the lead antagonist.
