KGF Chapter 2: The shooting of Yash and Srinidhi Shetty starrer has been stopped following court order
The shooting of KGF Chapter 2, the sequel to KGF Chapter 1, has been stopped abruptly following the interim order by the JMFC court
The ongoing shooting of the much awaited film KGF Chapter 2 has been put to a stop following the interim order by the JMFC court in Kolar Gold Fields. Starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Saran Shakthi, it is being directed by Prashanth Neel. The first poster was unveiled on Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt’s 60th birthday, and it left fans and followers excited to see what will happen in the sequel of KGF Chapter 1.
According to latest reports, the film was being shot at Cyanide Hills at Kolar Gold Filed but it was stopped abruptly by court’s order. Apparently, a case was filed by a local resident named Srinivasa who alleged that for making the sets and other shoot purpose, the hills were being destroyed and has caused environmental damage. The shooting had begun this month itself.

KGF Chapter 1 is a period action film which has been produced by Vijay Kiragandur and written and directed by Prashanth Neel. It hit theatres on 21st December last year and became the highest grossing Kannada film of all time. While it received mixed reviews from audience as well as critics, the cinematography and background score were applauded. It revolves around Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka Rocky, a poor man who arrives in Mumbai on a quest for power and wealth.
