Karnan Teaser: Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj's film to hit screens in April 2021

Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj's much-awaited film Karnan is all set to release in April 2021. Mari Selvaraj took to Twitter and shared Karnan's release date announcement teaser. The BGM by music composer Santosh Narayanan is the highlight of the teaser and moviegoers can't keep calm to know what's next in store for them. The rural drama has already set high expectations and reportedly, the makers are set to release the official teaser soon. However, there is no official word regarding the same yet. 

In December, Dhanush took shared a candid picture with the director as they wrapped up the film's shoot. The South wrote, "#karnan shoot completed. Thank you Mari selvaraj for giving me this. Thank you @theVcreations thanu sir for the support. Sincere thanks to all my co stars and technicians. A special thanks to @Music_Santhosh for the overwhelming music you have given for this special special film." Mari Selvaraj's last film Pariyerum Perumal managed to create the magic and got positive reviews. It remains to see what's next in the store. 

Karnan features Gauri Kishan of 96 fame in a key role, while popular Mollywood star Lal is also a part of the upcoming Kollywood film.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming untitled film with director Karthik Naren. The film has Malavika Mohanan as the leading lady.

The Maari actor recently took social media by storm after he revealed that his cult classic Kollywood film Aayirathil Oruvan is getting a remake.
