Karnan’s Kanda Vara Sollunga: Dhanush thanks composer Santosh Narayanan for ‘identifying deserving talents’
Directed by Mari Selvaraj, Karnan featuring Dhanush and Aishwarya Lekshmi is set to hit the big screens on April 9.
Following the success of Karnan’s first single Kanda Vara Sollunga, music composer Santosh Narayanan took to his Twitter space and thanked everyone who made the success possible. Sharing a photo with director Mari Selvaraj, Santosh Narayanan said it was a victory for so many folk artists. He wrote on the site as, “I bow down to all of you who loved and supported #KandaaVaraSollunga. This is a major victory for so many folk artists who have to be celebrated. Thank you all so much. Sharing the post, Dhanush thanked the composer for identifying the talents and bringing them on board for Karnan. Dhanush also hinted that there is more treat ahead for the fans on the cards. Lyrics of the song were penned by director Mari Selvaraj, while Kidakkuzhi Mariyammal and Santhosh Narayanan have sung it. Apart from Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan, Karnan stars Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Lal, Natarajan Subramanian, Yogi Babu, Alagamperumal, Gouri G Kishan among others in the key roles. The team wrapped up the shooting on 9th December and the makers had announced that the film will hit the big screens on April 9th. It is expected that the makers will announce updates about the film’s teaser and trailer soon.
