Karnan: Makers share unseen poster of Dhanush; To release first single of Mari Selvaraj directorial tomorrow
Starring Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead roles, it was announced that the much-awaited Kollywood flick will hit the big screens on April 9.
Kollywood’s sensational star Dhanush took to his Twitter space and announced that the first single of his upcoming film Karnan will be released tomorrow at 8 pm. Along with the announcement, Dhanush also shared an unseen poster of the Mari Selvaraj directorial. It was announced by the makers earlier this month, that the film will hit the big screens on April 9. At a time when fans are eagerly waiting to watch the film, this new announcement has come as an exciting one.
Apart from Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan, Karnan stars Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Lal, Natarajan Subramanian, Yogi Babu, Alagamperumal, Gouri G Kishan among others in the key roles. Music for the film is scored by Santhosh Narayanan. The composer had earlier tweeted that he had watched the film and he was mightily impressed by it. The team wrapped up the shoot on 9th December.

Other than Karnan, Dhanush currently has 6 films in his kitty including Karthick Subburaj's Jagame Thanthiram, Bollywood film Atrangi Re, Selvaraghavan's Aayirathil Oruvan 2, Hollywood film 'Gray Man' directed by Russo Brothers, a yet to be titled project with Malavika Mohanan, and Naane Varuven with Selvaraghavan. Recently, photos of the Asuran actor surfaced online and in the photos, he was seen in the airport. Hearsay has that he is off to the US to shoot for the Hollywood film The Gray Men. It is expected that the makers of Jagame Thandhiram will make an official announcement regarding the film’s release soon.
