Karnan: Makers release lyrical video of emotional folk number Pandarathi Puranam with glimpses of Dhanush
After the huge success of first single Kanda Vara Sollunga, the makers of Dhanush’s Karnan have now released the lyrical video of second single, Pandarathi Puranam.
Following the massive success of the first single Kanda Varasollunga from Karnan, the makers of the Dhanush starrer have now shared the second lyrical Pandarathi Puranam, which is an emotional folk number. In the video, glimpses of Dhanush from the film were also shown. It is understood with the visuals and the lyrics that the song will be about the demise of a woman due to Cholera. An emotional Dhanush can be seen trying to make the situation light with dance and music.
Lyrics of the song were penned by Yugabarathi, while veteran music composer Deva has sung it. Apart from Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan, Karnan stars Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Lal, Natarajan Subramanian, Yogi Babu, Alagamperumal, Gouri G Kishan among others in the key roles. The team wrapped up the shooting on 9th December and the makers had announced that the film will hit the big screens on April 9th. It is expected that the makers will announce updates about the film’s teaser and trailer soon.

Meanwhile, after the release of Kanda Varasollunga, Dhanush thanked Santosh Narayanan for identifying the raw talents and bringing them on board for Karnan’s songs. Dhanush also hinted that there is more treat ahead for the fans on the cards. He wrote, “And we know there is much more to come. Thank you for identifying such deserving talents of our soil and soul and displaying them to the world. God bless you”.
