Kanchana 3 review: The much awaited film Kanchana 3 which stars Raghava Lawrence in the pivotal role released on the big screen today. The film has opened with some rave reviews from the critics and the audience alike. While some cannot stop praising the performances and the plot, others were not much impressed with the film.
The film Kanchana 3 was one of the most anticipated films of this year. The film is directed by Raghava Lawrence and stars him along with Vedhika, Oviya, Nikki Tamboli, Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini and Sriman in the pivotal roles. The film has finally hit the theatres today and the first review of the film is out whrein the film seems to have garnered a mixed response from the critics and the masses alike. The film has Raghava Lawrence playing a youngster who easily gets scared to supernatural powers but is then possessed by the ghosts of two people who use him to take revenge against a corrupt politician.
The masses are all praises for Raghava Lawrence’s performance in the film who shows immense versatility in his performances and cast members like Kovai Sarala, Sriman, and Devadarshini are being hailed for their comic timing. However, the lead actresses Vedhika, Oviya and Nikki Tamboli are being said to have been used as mere glamorous damsels in the film. The film is said to have retained all its original attractions with a larger than life climax sequel. However, few have hailed the film to have created a lesser impact than its original counterparts.
Raghava Lawrence who is a well-known philanthropist in real life seems to have retained some of it in the film too. One of the Twitter users wrote, “#Kanchana3/#Muni4 - The target audience will be liking it. @offl_Lawrence has repeated whatever liked by his core audiences in the previous three horror comedies. Here, he has also his real-life philanthropist angle in the flashback. The climax is loud (the other parts too same). Another user declared that the film may entertain the fans of the Kanchana franchise. He wrote, “#Kanchana3 - Watchable old age horror masala package. Lawrence's energetic. Dance super. 3 heroines, so no compromise on Glamour side. Thr r few scares, mass & comedy. Exaggerated scenes, overacting, mokka comedies & songs r on neg side. Might entertain d Kanchana franchise fans.”
