Kamal Haasan takes vaccination for COVID 19; Says it is important not only for self but for the society
Kamal Haasan shared a photo on his Twitter space while announcing that he got vaccinated for Coronavirus in Chennai/
Kamal Haasan took to his Twitter space and announced that he took his first dose of COVID 19 vaccine and encouraged people to get vaccinated. He added that it is an important thing to do as it affects not only oneself but also the whole society. Announcing the news, the actor turned politician also shared a photo of himself getting vaccinated. He wrote, “I got vaccinated for coronavirus at Sri Ramachandra Hospital. It is necessary for those who care for themselves and others to get vaccinated. Right now, get yourself vaccinated for COVID 19, after which we all can fight against corruption next month.”
As the vaccination drive expands to include people above 60 years of age and those above 45 with comorbidities, Kamal Haasan received the first dose of the anti-Covid vaccine on Tuesday. A host of big names including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu have gotten themselves vaccinated after the second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive began in the country yesterday.

Meanwhile, on the work front, it was announced yesterday that an update regarding Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film with Lokesh Kanagaraj titled Vikram will be made soon. The makers also revealed that the teaser received more than 20 million views on YouTube. It is expected that the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed soon. He also has Indian 2 in his line up of films. Directed by Shankar, the film has Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh as the leading ladies, while Siddharth will be seen playing a key role.
