Kamal Haasan’s touching message to Rajinikanth on the superstar’s 69th Birthday

On the 69th birthday of superstar Rajinikanth, social media is flooded with wishes from his fans and celebrities. Kamal Haasan, who has and always had an amazing relationship with Rajinikanth, took to Twitter on Thursday and wished Rajini for his birthday. He wrote, “On the Birthday of my close friend and well-wisher Rajinikanth, I wish him health and happiness”. They both started their journey in the entertainment industry together and they have grown up to become two massive figures with a tremendous fan base.

On the work front, Rajinikanth’s Darbar is all set to hit the big screens for 2020 Pongal. After about two decades, Darbar will have Rajinikanth playing a cop. He was last seen as a police in Pandiyan. Produced by Lyca productions, Darbar is the maiden collaboration of Rajinikanth and AR Murugadoss. Music score has been composed by Anirudh Ravichandar and a motion poster was released last month. His next movie with Sun Pictures, tentatively titled Thalaivar 168, has star cast including Meena, Khushbu, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj among the others.

Kamal Haasan on the other hand, is currently busy with the shooting of the second installment of Indian. The movie is being helmed by Shankar. It is being reported that Indian 2 has Kajal Agarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek playing the key roles. However, no official confirmation has been made yet on the casting.
