Kajal Aggarwal spills the beans about her role in Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya; Details Inside
Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya has Megastar Chiranjeevi as the lead actor, while Ram Charan will be seen in an extended cameo role.
Reports after reports are coming up regarding the upcoming film of megastar Chiranjeevi, Acharya. While we are waiting for the makers to announce new updates officially, Kajal Aggarwal has now revealed on her social media space that her role for the film will be feisty and the shooting experience has been fabulous. During a question-and-answer session, a fan asked her about the experience of working in Acharya, to which she spilled the beans.
She wrote on her Instagram stories, “Fabulous! Not played the quintessential for so long. Missed it. The lockdown reiterated my love for such feisty characters”. Initially, Trisha Krishnan was roped in to play the leading lady for the film. However, Trisha opted out citing to creative differences. Later, Kajal was auditioned after which she was brought on board to play as the leading lady.

After her marriage with Gautam Kitchlu, Kajal Aggarwal joined the sets of Acharya last month, with a warm welcome from the megastar himself. Gautam Meanwhile, the most recent report about the film suggests that Pooja Hegde will be seen as the romantic interest of Ram Charan and she will be seen as a rural girl. However, an official update regarding this, is still not made. Ram Charan recently joined the sets of the film and photos of the same were shared by the makers. It is expected that more updates regarding the film’s progress will be made soon by the makers.
