Kaappaan Movie Review: Suriya, Mohanlal's film opens to a positive response; Check out audience reaction

Kaappaan starring Suriya in the lead role has finally hit screens today, September 20th.  After Selvaraghavan’s NGK, Suriya is back with another strong role as NSG Commando. Kaappaan is Suriya’s third collaboration with Anand and fans had been eagerly waiting to know what's in the store. Kaappaan also stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, which is one of the highlights of the film. This is for the first time Suriya and Mohanlal are sharing the screen space and the camaraderie between them has grabbed a lot of attention. 

The star cast of the film is quite interesting and that has set high expectations among the moviegoers. The much talked about film also stars Samuthirakani, Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Irani. Well, the film has released today and has opened to a fantastic response by the audience and critics alike. Kaappaan is receiving good reviews from the audience on Twitter. Recently, in an interview with Firstpost, Suriya shared his experience of working with Mohanlal. He said, "See, it’s quite natural to feel the pressure of the presence of a veteran actor on the sets. But the good thing about Mohanlal sir is that he will not put on any extra weight on you. In the first meeting itself, he broke the ice, and made me comfortable. Lal sir and I discussed a few topics, which I would even hesitate to open up to a close friend. After the shoot, Lal sir told me that I can call him anytime, and he is just phone call away. Another unique quality about Lal sir is that you can’t feel the effect of his performance on the sets but on screen, he somehow creates a magic."
