Now, in an interview with Cinema Express, the director candidly talks about how superstar Suriya has grown as an actor.
The highly anticipated film called Kaappaan which had south megastar Suriya playing the lead released amid high expectations from the fans and film audience on 20th September. The film Kaappaan is helmed by director KV Anand. The megastar Suriya will be essaying the role of a Special Protection Group (SPG) officer. The film also featured south superstar Mohanlal in a crucial role. The Ittymaani: Made in China actor was seen playing the role of the country's Prime Minister. The film which is an action thriller saw the lead actor Suriya doing some daredevil stunts and action sequences.
Now, in an interview with Cinema Express, the director candidly talks about how superstar Suriya has grown as an actor. The director KV Anand was the handling the camera for megastar Suriya's first film titled Nerukku Ner. The director, KV Anand says he genuinely felt that Suriya would have left the film industry during the shoot of the actor's first film called Nerukku Ner. KV Anand who has worked with megastar Suriya in films like Ayan and Maatraan. The director candidly admits that by the time he did the film titled Ayan with superstar Suriya, the actor had mastered his art.
The director, KV Anand also said that after megastar Suriya worked with directors like Ameer, Bala and Gautham Menon he had gathered great amount of knowledge about the films and acting. In the film, Kaappaan, Suriya did a splendid job of essaying a Special Protection Group officer. Kaappaan also featured actors like Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Irani in key roles.
