Jersey Twitter Review: Nani's cricketer avatar bowls over fans

As though the cricket madness hasn't taken over us courtesy the Indian Premiere League, Tollywood has given us another dose of cricket with the help of Nani. The star's Telugu movie titled Jersey hits the cinemas today. The movie tells the tale of a middle-aged man who is trying to make his mark as a cricketer. Nani is seen playing Arjun in the movie while he stars opposite Shraddha Srinath who plays Sarah in the flick. The trailers generated curiosity among the Telugu movie fans. 

Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi's Sithara Entertainments, the movie is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. Apart from Nani and Shraddha, Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, Brahmaji, Subbaraju and Ronit Kamra play crucial roles in the film. Judging by the audience reviews on social media platforms, the movie has got a thumbs up. 

Fans took to Twitter to rave about the movie and Nani's performance. "#Jersey is a heartwarming sports drama... with a towering career best performance from Nani. 2nd half gets a bit lagged towards end but the climax makes it up for that. Movie has many touching moments with terrific Score from anirudh. Give it a shot..." read a tweet.
