Jagame Thandhiram: Dhanush keeps his fingers crossed for theatrical release; Says he hopes for it
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Jagame Thandhiram is touted to be a gangster flick with Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leading lady.
It was reported yesterday that Dhanush’s upcoming film Jagame Thandhiram will release on OTT platform and in theatres at the same time. While fans are waiting for an official update regarding the film’s release, Dhanush has now sent out a tweet saying that he was also hoping to release the film on the big screens. He added that he was keeping his fingers crossed as the situation is such. When the makers of Thalapathy Vijay’s Master announced its theatrical release, Dhanush congratulated the team.
Taking to his Twitter space, Dhanush wrote, “had I am hoping for the theatrical release of Jagame Thandiram like the theatre owners, exhibitors, distributors, cinema lovers and most of all my fans. Fingers crossed”. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Jagame Thandhiram is touted to be a gangster flick and it has Dhanush in the titular role, while Lekshmi Menon will be seen as the leading lady. The film has music by Santosh Narayanan. Two songs have been released so far, and both the songs turned out to be huge hits.

Meanwhile, other than this, Dhanush recently joined the sets of his upcoming film with Karthik Naren tentatively titled D 43. The film has Malaika Mohanan as the leading lady. Recent reports also suggested that Dhanush will be joining the sets of his Hollywood film The Gray Man in the month of February. He also has Karnan directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Mari Selvaraj. His yet to be titled film with Selvaraghavan was also rolled on the floors recently.
