Jackpot Trailer: Jyothika and Revathi impress the fans with their performances; WATCH
Actresses Jyothika and Revathi are uniting for the first time in their upcoming film Jackpot. Check out the film's trailer.
Jyothika, who was last seen essaying the role of a school principal in Raatchasi and Revathi who played a District Collector in Keni, are teaming up for the very first time in their upcoming film Jackpot. The film’s official trailer was released and has already become the talk of the town.
The makers released the two-minute trailer which is filled with funny punches and many references to film titles and popular characters from it. It begins with Mansoor Ali Khan’s character reciting some of the popular cops from Tamil cinema. “Who’s causing you trouble? Is it Raghavan or the old guy Walter Vetrivel? Anbu Selvam IPS or Durai Singam?” he asks Anandraj over the phone while we see Jyothika and Revathi coming out of a police jeep in their uniforms.
The trailer showcases both of them in very different looks - police inspectors, veterinaries, clad in madisar and also inside a women’s prison. The duo's collaboration is an interesting one. It also shows the two helping the children later on. The film’s music has been composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar. Jackpot was launched in February and got wrapped up in April. Helmed by Kalyan and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 2, 2019.
